Woven from the wool of Skye sheep, hand-selected by Andrea and Roger Holden of Skye Weavers, these brooding grey throws have the soul of the Misty Isle in every fibre. In addition to the 100% Pure New Skye Wool, the characterful yolk yellow stripes are dyed locally too. They are a colour match for the vivid lichen found on the rocks around Skye’s shores – Xanthoria parietina – from which the throws take their name. The blanket’s rugged, tactile charm captures the evocative spirit of Skye in all its moody beauty.
