Iona’s lamp bases have a strikingly imaginative, sculptural beauty. ‘As I sculpt each lamp base, my recent beachcombing observations seem to find their way into the form. This year the standout discoveries include a sun bleached Minke whale’s skull and vertebrae, a large yellow fish box from Iceland, and gigantic sugar kelp.’
