Verdigris Corbel
James Rigler£4,500.00
Description
We are mesmerised by James Rigler’s Verdigris Corbel on a daily basis at Bard. The hollow ceramic form has been covered in copper leaf and then chemically oxidised. This achieves the Verdigris that would otherwise happen naturally over decades. In certain light the copper glisters beneath varying depths of inky blue and green. Soft and graphic, playful and monumental, it is like something that has been unearthed from a forum of the future.
