Serving boards (oxidised)
Jonnie Crawford£115.00
Description
Blackened oak serving boards with a tactile scalloped surface that comes from a travisher – a traditional tool used in chairmaking and cask-building. As Jonnie explains: ‘The marks give an insight into the process, an opportunity to play with light and reflection, and an intentionally imperfect surface inviting the board to be used, not admired from a distance.’
