Four-legged Soapdish
Morven Mulgrew£21.00
Description
‘A soap dish is on the edge of taste,’ says Morven. ‘They are also one of your most visible ceramic objects in your home – way more so than your mug in the cupboard.’ Morven’s four-legged soap dishes are one of her much-loved more signature designs exploring making at scale as a human factory. ‘Originally I wanted to make a champagne tower of soap dishes, with the soap at the top,’ she says. ‘I made about 90 before realising I’d need to make closer to 1000. They’re also not great at sitting on top of each other because they are not uniform. And that’s what I love about them.’ As do we.
Height 3.5cm, width 10cm, depth 8cm.
