This oval-shaped, shallow basket is a cornerstone of British craft heritage, made from split oak strips woven around a hazel rim. Known as ‘tatties’ in Scotland, the oak swill basket was traditionally used to carry potatoes. Light, robust and extremely strong, they can be used for all manner of functions in and around the home.
