Timorous Beasties, the legendary Glasgow-based design studio, have designed a special Edinburgh Toile for Bard’s opening. As with their Glasgow and London toiles before, this cheeky design showcases the grittier sides of Edinburgh in the prim framing of traditional toile de jouy. Here on our Tea Toiles, vignettes reveal the endless tram roadworks, shady goings on in the shadow of Carlton Hill and a couple of miscreants relieving themselves on Greyfriars Bobby. The grit and the glamour of Edinburgh life!
