Forged and handmade by Jake Clelland of Skye Knives in his workshop in Orbost on the Isle of Skye, this Sgian Dubh has a 3 ½-inch single-edged blade of 105 high carbon tool steel, clay hardened, polished and etched to show a hamon. The handle is figured walnut wood, hand carved with three bands of three lace “Dirk Knot” Celtic knotwork. The scabbard has a core of hand-forged and brazed copper, covered with lambskin and lined with felt.
