Ostara Egg Cup

Cara Guthrie

£55.00

Description

We originally asked ceramicist Cara Guthrie to make these egg cups for the celebration of the spring equinox, Ostara, at Boath House in Moray.  Back by popular demand, the egg cups have sand from beaches on the Moray Firth mixed into the clay and glazed using ash from scrub gathered and burnt in the grounds at Boath.

Whether holding your breakfast or a 45mm pilar candle, these wonderful heavy bottomed vessels make a beautiful solid statement. Get cracking.

Height 6cm, width 10.5cm, depth 10.5cm.
