Description
Otherlands IV is a quiet, brooding masterpiece. The fourth iteration in Oliver’s ongoing series of low tables has an elegant solemnity, thanks to the charring of the Highland Douglas fir surface. The raw tactility of the live edge makes for a beautiful contrast with the hand-gouged surface. The fir is raised aloft on Lewisian Gneiss and Pegmatite boulders, piercing the wooden surface and held securely in place with gravity alone, thanks to Oliver’s meticulous carving.
