We have longed for some time for an older sibling to our leather-wrapped stones, with the function of a door stop. Jess White developed our ideas and drawings into these hunks. Each boulder is wrapped with a wide leather band, which is stitched and extended around a brass rod to become a carry handle. ‘Each one felt like I was making a creature,’ Jess says, ‘Each one is something a little wild, wrapped in a beautifully tailored leather jacket.‘

As each Boulder Doorstop is made from a naturally sourced stone, every piece is unique in its size, shape, texture, and character. The images shown are a guide to the leather used for your commissioned piece; while no two stones are identical, we will endeavour to select a stone of a similar size and shape to those shown in this listing.
