Folding Child's Chair
Laura Lees£500.00
Description
We are smitten by this charming piece of furniture, which we call a child’s folding chair. Clever Laura has transformed the slim, antique wooden-framed folding chair into a whimsical heirloom with her Organic Debris embroidered seat. The freehand machine embroidered textile features silvery reeds and leaf mulch, layered into an exquisite frenzy that feels simultaneously abstract and modernist. Very much a functional seat still, the textile is fastened in place with hook and eye Velcro, and is removable for cleaning. Magnificently practical for messy, accident-prone children.
Height 55cm, width 31cm, depth 40cm. Seat height 29cm.
