Description
“I love modernist and brutalist architecture, but you can’t have those buildings without the classics, too. I love imagining people in Enlightenment Edinburgh watching these beautiful, neo-Palladian buildings being made. I get very excited rendering the architecture in thread on a backdrop of bold colour. I love the different textures.”
Nicolson Street, William Henry Playfair, 1832
